ciao Nikone!!!!
I'm back! After some weeks of work my portal is operative again.
This spring, one year and a half after the development of the first version of my website, I decided to reprogram it with the experience and knowledge I gained in the meantime. Now the code is more slim, faster and adapts better to my needs. The main functionality I introduced is the integration with my pc. Now I can add new pages offline and modify them easily and fast on my pc (directly via vim) and with an update publish everything here. This allows me to publish the notes I take - since I take note of almost everything I learn (see for example most of my pages about information technology), my site should slowly become a good reference of the knowledge I gained over the years, or at least of the topics I deepen.
The look of my site remains similar. I made some minor changes which let some components look more elegant, but in general I decided to keep the simple, modular design I had up to now.
My wish now is to go back to writing articles. I stopped writing for a while because I knew that I wanted to implement some changes, and because of lack of time. Thanks to the vacations I could introduce the changes, and now I should be free to write more regularly.
At the same time I decided to be less at the pc for the next weeks. My passion for programming has overruled all other sides of my life, therefore now that I reached my goal (of course I could never stop curing the details and implement new stuff) it is time to go back and find some balance. Not that I want to stop completely - I've got some small projects I want to work on. And articles can always be written by hand first, therefore expect some news[1]. Cheers!
Complimenti Nick!!!
